Paris, part 2: Notre Dame

this next post of my paris photos centers around one of the more famous and highly trafficked tourist spots in all of paris... Cathédrale Notre Dame de Paris. i think i mentioned this in the last post of paris photos, but i am really not a lover of architectural photography. (me taking it, that is) however, i enjoyed these photos of the amazing statues... probably because my memory of taking these photos has more to do with listening to my history buff of a husband talk about the history of the statues than anything else. the clouds were also pretty spectacular.

either way, i hope you enjoy my take on this famously photographed west facade.

this last image is a favorite moment from our entire trip. we left notre dame and were walking along the seine as the sun set. i looked back and saw the west facade glowing pink with the reflection of the setting sun. we actually walked (ran) back towards it for me to get this shot...
